Who counts as a qualifying referral?+
Any new UK individual or business that signs up with TaxRoot using your unique referral link and completes a paid filing (Self Assessment £134+, MTD subscription £34+/mo, Company Registration £100+, or Corporation Tax £389+).
When do I get my £25?+
As soon as your friend's first paid filing is complete, your account is credited. You can see pending vs credited referrals in your dashboard.
Can I refer a business I'm a director of?+
You can refer a business where you are not the sole owner. Self-referrals, referrals to companies you control, or referrals from the same household as the referrer do not qualify.
Is there a cap on how many people I can refer?+
No cap. If you refer 20 founders in a year, that's £500 in credit. Cash-out is enabled after your 3rd successful referral.
Do I have to be a customer to refer?+
You need a free TaxRoot account to generate a referral link. You don't need to be a paid customer — Academy members and free-tool users can refer too.
Can I refer existing TaxRoot clients?+
No. Referrals only apply to new sign-ups.
